About the centre

Kindamindi is a 32-place long day care centre on the border of Bondi and Tamarama, in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. The centre nurtures and cares for children aged from 6 months up to 6 years old, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. The centre has been in operation for over 40 years and is well loved and respected in the community.

We are an independent, not-for-profit, community based centre, run as a co-operative, by a voluntary parent management committee. The parent management committee works collaboratively with the paid members of staff — the Centre Director and a team of dedicated, experienced and long-serving educators. All parents who enrol a child into the centre, automatically become members of the co-operative and are welcome to become involved in running the centre, via the parent management committee.

We do not allow for unscheduled, ad hoc visits. Please email admin@kindamindibondi.org to organise a tour date (admin@kindamindibondi.org)
